Pictures Make Great Writing Prompts

One of my favorite ideas for writing journals is to use picture prompts. Simply find an interesting picture and ask students to describe what is happening. They could make up a story or tell how a person in the picture might be feeling. The possibilities are limitless. On Pinterest, I have a growing collection of pictures that I think would be great to use for writing prompts.
